Hello again.....
This is a photo taken from a mesa top that is far off the beaten path. I go there quite often, and this line of rocks was there the first time I discovered this spot. There are many lines of rocks that run the edge of this canyon and I found it strange the first time. But through all seasons and storms, wind, torrential rains and snowfall they remain. They do not wash away and I find that mysterious. Write a poetic explanation as to why you would think this could be. Use your imaginations, and keep it fairly short, say nothing over 25 lines.
Please please use spellcheck and proper grammar.
Have fun and be imaginative.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on March 12, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 1 people
- Final notes: Once again a difficult task to judge and I am finding out more about my personal tastes with each contest, and as I am judging I guess that is what counts. I like short and to the point, and I usually have a line limit. While I am greatly impressed with people that can write in metaphors exclusively, I sometimes don't always get it. I switched the order of my finalists several times, but this are finally my winners, thanks all for entering, and look for another soon.
1.The Rocks of Legend-Beautiful
2. Toe the Line-Brilliant
3. Anasazi Prayers-Beautiful
4. Among My Stones-haunting
Thanks all again.
- To judge this contest, you need to have at least as many finalists as you have rewards. You have 4 awards but only 2 finalists.
