Hello, sweet niece
If I can get my pen to flowing again (maybe I should write about this accursed three-and-three-quarter-year writer's block, but I do not wish to bore you), I won't have to look too far in the past to give you something, as things have been...tempestuous, lately, for lack of a more stupendous word. I am simply deciding what to write and hoping it will be something that will fit into the contest.
But enough about me. How have you been? I hope all is still well, and if not, my shoulders are always available.

Cant stop to look back and regret
I don't understand why tears always seem to find me
And why mirrors only seem to reflect my pain.
And how my brick walls block out my life but keep in the rain.
But I fould that eventually all darkness turns to some light.
And that each minute of each day was a challange that I must be willing to take.
And that each mistake was just another chance to make happiness.
