- Final notes: Thank you EVERYONE for giving me such wonderful poetry. I love the fact that all the hearts opened differently. Some hearts saw darkness, others, lights, some saw joy, then there was the sorrowful heart. That';s what happens when we expose that thundering organ that is our lifeline.

When I opened my heart
this is what i hear.
mylove dripping into a puddle at my feet
like a faucet with a tattered washer
no matter how hard I turned the handle
it would not stop because my heart
was broken.
