Hello -
This is my second contest and last one.
I'm leaving this site to pursue other things and won't have time my friends here deserve to stay. There are those of you who have my email - I won't be checking it after next week. I will send out my new email as soon as I get it. I'm still on messeger sometimes though.
Enough of that!
For the contest - this is open - wide open to whatever you want to write.
I had planned on going out of town for my birthday but got snowed in so I can't go. I'd love to have some poems to read!
Some suggestions or ideas you might want to write about:
Saying goodbye to a friend who is moving away...
My birthday wish --
Your birthday wish...
Staying in touch with someone you love who has moved away or died...
Spirituality
Philosophy on the meaning of life or just philosophy
I don't want to place limitations on ya but I'd rather not hear about angry ranting about politicians or war or gruesome grizzly ghastly tales of woe.
Use spell check - it is your friend.
Read your poem aloud - that helps rhythm (see, I just had to check the dictionary to make sure I spelled rhythm right - it's ok) and cadence.
I'd love to see what ya'll have up your literary sleeves.
Looking forward to giving away all my points this week!
