Here we are with AP BEST OF THE BEST SEASON THREE! With Seasons One and Two behind us, Season Three will be the most intriguing season yet. The crowned King/Queen of the first two seasons, acting as co-judges with the final season before the Battle Royale, it's important to know that none of us will be showing any favoritism nor mercy --even if we do know you.
ACKNOWLEDGE RIGHT NOW THAT NONE OF US WILL TOLERATE WHINING OR EGOISTICAL AS*****S
For if we see this in your write, then by all means DO NOT ENTER and block us!
As for the multi-round contest, there will be THREE (3) rounds consisting of this:
-Preliminary Round-
Sixty-six entries entering to place.
Rules are strictly enforced for this portion
of the round
The only way you'll be permitted
to move on to the semi-round is that
you MUST GET A SCORE OF 16 and up
in order to move on to the semi-round
Simply stated, there will be four
judges scoring on the scale of
1-5...well you get the idea
-Semi-Round One-
Only the top thirty-three will
make it to this round where the
rules are more tighter and the
scoring will be doubled
on account of these two factors:
1. Overall Creativity/Imagery
2. For the write itself
The scoring for this round will be
based upon the scale of 1-10
-Final Round-
ONLY the top writers will
battle it out to see if they
can be crowned King/Queen
of AP BEST OF THE BEST SEASON THREE
Acknowledge at this point just because you
may place first, second, or third place, chances
are that you might not be crowned just because you've
placed in the final top three spots.
Scoring, however, will be different. In other words,
you shall be scored on these majoy factors:
1. Topic/Theme: 1-20
2. Line Overage: 1-10
3. Grammar/Punctuation: 1-20
4. Language/Overall: 1-10
5. Summary/Research: 1-40

1. Assigned Famous Poet
2. Bibliography/Summary
3. Self Explanation as to why you choosen that particular poem
4. Inspired peom from poet
5. Mimicking of form/style
The rules for this season will be the same as they were for Season Two minus there will be a few more added on rules varying the portion of the round.
RULES:
1. Absolutely no erotica, slang/chat lingo, sticky caps
2. No responding back to commentary made on your entry UNTIL the contest ends

out of curiosity
is there an assigned topic or just whatever we wish to enter as long as it follows the given rules? -

Reply
Since this is just only the Preliminary round, all you have to do is adhere to the rules only. The semi-round and Final round will be themed assignments.
Do that answer you question now? -
-
indeed thank you

For authors notes
"When bunnies attack the inner sanctum of other fluffy things"
POETDONTKNOWIT- THE DAZE -
-
NO NO
You have to have that phrase IN YOUR AUTHOR'S NOTES or it does not count
-
-
So even though I got to the finals last season, I can enter this round? Or should I wait till season four?
Congrats to -Ink Artist- for winning!! I probably should tell that to them... -
-
Chibi Reply
Yes Chibi you can enter this season BUT you cannot enter you piece that got you to the finals. Hope that answers your question
-
-
i have a piece i would like to enter, which i have already entered into another contest, which has since ended, and i placed in. must i remove it from that contest to enter it into this one?
-
oh yeah, definitely going to enter this.
-
-
u better!! lol
-
-
I'll try.
-
-
-
I grouched terribly last season. I'd enter, but i'm too much a pain and want to save people from that. lol
-
Sounds interesting.
Just one thing...
>>> we condone any replies back on your writes if others comment
I always thought condone meant to approve of or forgive. If you use it in it's 'disregard' form, it means you will overlook the fact that someone has done something. Sorry to nitpick, but I think this is important.

dude your contest is so confusing
theres like rounds and stuff
i stoped reading the directions about a quarter of the way through
too much to take in at once -
-
if it was confusing then you dont have to enter if the simplistic comprehension wasnt to your liking. thank you and have a good blessed day
-
-
Yay! I made it to the next round! I am so happy! *does the happy dance*
-
