Aye, that's right ya scallywags! I be wantin' ta read some PIRATEY poems... kin ya help a lassie out?

I'll be allowin' prewrites, but only if'n they be good! If it dinnae fit tha contest, er be a good poem, I'll make 'ee walk tha plank!

Serious PIRATEY poems be mighty fine, an' if'n ya kin make this lassie giggle, that'd be grand! But dinnae try ta talk like a PIRATE if'n ya can't back yer words with gunpowder! In other words, make me think you be a PIRATE! I dinnae want to read borin' poems about Disneyfied PIRATES...

(And if'n ya can't foller 'em, I'll have ya keel hauled!)

~Grammer don't make no never mind... I dinnae care who yer grammer is!
~But if'n ya use sticky caps er anythin resemblin such, ye'll be tied to tha deck and fed to tha gulls!
~Erotica an' swearin' be fine, but label it right, er it'll be the gallows fer ye!
~Make it readable so I dinnae have to highlight to read it... if'n I do I'll keel haul ya an' dq yer poem!!
~Bash anythin' ya like, jes remember, ya might get bashed back!
~NO PotC poems, er movie poems... ye kin use real PIRATES like Blackbeard er Long John Silver.
~Be a PIRATE!!

    I was drawn into this contest by the very clever and enticing wording ~ got me straight into the right mood for the challenge...a hearty bravo to Sokarjo! Very inventive and great fun.
