Today was valentines day... and I am a married woman. The love of my life (my husband) did not even give me any recognition that today was Valentines Day. I worked my butt of today cleaning my entire house.. and by entire I mean EVERYTHING!!!! I am sore now.. my body aches in places i did not know could ache.. and have been limping around here for the past 6 hours. He did not ask me what was wrong. He has yet to kiss me.. and well.. he is asleep now cuz it is midnight. So a kiss is not gonna happen. I did not recieve even a Happy Valentines Day Sweety!! Nothing!!!! he gave me nothing but grief and resentment today and I am very distraught about this.. so here is the deal!!!
I want sad love stuff.. about things similar to what I am going through. or maybe someone you love/loved left you for a reason unexplainable..... just really anything about sadness related to relationships..No mush..I need to cry my heart out.. so make me weep harder than I have ever wept!!!

This was one heck of a hard contest to judge. I had to really crack down and see who really truly followed the rules and who did not have a ton of spelling errors .. to find the ones that really moved me.. or were written for me.. Some of you had some mushy gushy stuff.. and yes it was good.. but I asked for sob stories. However.. keep them in mind when I have another contest.. I just may be looking for something like that.

Go into his room and HIT HIM! rofl... well its what I'D do... Well okay, how about this then... Wait until he leaves tomorrow, make a big cardboard or paper valentine, tear it in half, and then leave it on his pillow... that idea's almost worth a poem its just so dramatic. If it wasn't almost one O'clock i'd write one... Ah well... Feel Better!

I cannot even laugh. I know exactly how you feel. My husband used to be the same way on all Holidays. I would clean the "ENTIRE" house, make dinner, dress in lingerie, etc...nothing. He used to say that Holidays were just like any other day. It hurts to the core. I should be able to pull something together for this one...

Men are jerks. I feel like I do not matter anymore. He has always gotten me SOEMTHING for Valentines day... and if he could not afford it.. he made me dinner or something. I dunno what to think or do with this. It is just sad. I am sorry you went through this a lot with yur hubby. They certainly do suck. I hope you enter and thank you sis, for the comment

Thanks Lynda,dear. He is just a jerk. He has been acting up for a couple months now. His affection for me is withered away. He no longer cuddles me like he used to.. and this morning he left still without a hug or kiss. I hope you enter hon. I look forward to judging this one. My god. Sorry, I'm a person who reads lots of sad stuff and cries. I watch sad movies and cry. But I never relate and my gawd did I relate to this and bawl my eyes out.

Thank you hon. I am sorry that you could relate to this. It is not something I wish for anyone. I just do not get him anymore. He has been acting up the oast like 2 months, His affection for me is whithered. I just wish he would have at least aknowledged that yesterday was Valentines Day.

Just to let you know that I think your husband is really missing out...and in a way..I am jealous of him because he has someone to come home to on valentines day...I have NEVER been with a loved one on valentines day becuase something always happens that disables me from being with the one I love on valentines day...so he doesn't know how lucky he really is! The girl that i love had to work in another state on valentines day..so once again I was left without anyone to cuddle up next to on that special day so you are not alone. -
