Hello everyone, I want you to make up a poetic story to go along with this picture.
Write a scenario that surrounds an event that could have happened there. I personally am not sure what this building was in its day. It lies just south of the Colorado/NM border in NM. I always think of old Monkees song when I see it, although that was Clarksville, lol.
Any form or category will be acceptable.
Please make sure you double check your spelling and grammar and keep the length to 50 lines or under..
I prefer to judge blindly so please do not respond to my comments until after judging, or 'out' yourself in anyway. I kindly ask that you respond to others comments either in IM or after closing as well.

I thought the same thing when I read the entry ... loved that song ...have fun with this contest!

you have to ask people not to rate your comments too now if you want to keep it anonymous, or the star ratings give away the identity. It'sa little screwed up since so few people do anyway, to ask them not to give you that 10 points, since as contest hosts, you need those points to host. I find the anonymous thing a little more than impossible to manage at this point. I still like to read the poem initially blind but it's nuts trying to avoid going to friend's pages and everything else.
