hi
This contest is based on the concept of "paying it forward"...
This is my 6th Pay it Forward Contest !!!
"Pay It Forward" is a book written by Catherine Ryan Hyde but it is also a concept, an inspiration !! ( well I think so anyway ) .. It's an action plan.. to read more about it you can click here http://www.payitforwardfoundation.org/home.html
but in a few words it means if you do something good for someone, instead of them paying you back by doing something good for you, they do something good for someone else, and then that person does something good for another someone else... and pretty soon a lot of people are feeling good and doing good things I hope I explained that OK
So all I want you to do in this contest is write a poem for someone else to make them feel good. You can write the poem for anyone.. a family member, a sick neighbour or just someone you know who you think needs a smile, or maybe just a stranger you feel like reaching out to by writing some words of inspiration Just do something good for someone else.. of course if you win you'll get lots of points so it might seem like I'm just asking you to do something good so I can reward you which could be true. I hope its not. I hope you use the points to do the same thing, to hold a contest for other people just to keep the feeling of good growing I hope I don't sound like I'm preaching or trying to say whats right or wrong.. Ive just always loved and believed in the concept ever since I saw the film and I think that knowing you made someone smile is the best reward ever and if that person then goes on to make another person smile then it can't be a bad thing, right ? Well I guess if you agree with me you might enter, hopefully please If not, sorry I wasted your time if you read this far...
anyway ..........
Just a few rules ~~
Nothing adult because I can't read it and I don't think it's appropriate for this contest
No bad words because I don't think you need to use bad words to make anyone feel good
Enter as many times as you like...I don't think there should be a limit to how many people you can make smile
not a rule but if you win I really really hope you "Pay It Forward" but its your choice of course
gold, silver and bronze all get enough points to start their own contests.....
thank you
ellie

I just had a great pay it forward experience too bad i cant take back that poem i wrote and write about this instead! i was at the store and some guy behind me payed for all the stuff i bought! i dont know why all he said was ' dont worry about it and god bless you miss.'
i almost cried! it was like 50 dollars worth of stuff for my house! -
im sure i wrote something here about asking if this contest had died... i shall take the disappearance of my comment and the lack of judgingness to be an indication that it has... oh well.. i enjoyed entering anywya.
-
thank you so much for the gold trophy in your contest.... congratulations to your other winners and all who entered your contest...
