Everything Is Coming Up Roses

The red rose whispers of passion,
                 And the white rose breathes of love;
Oh, the red rose is a falcon,
And the white rose is a dove.

These are already the opening lines of a poem. [check it out here http://oldpoetry.com/opoem/5361 ]

What I want is for you to expand it into a complete poem.
You can split the verse up if you wish as long as each line stays complete.

You can use the lines anywhere in the poem.
You can use any style and category that seems to work for you.

BUT

1. No Swearing or Cursing
2. No, so called, Text Talk
3. No emoticons
4. I don't expect perfection but I don't like poor spelling. Use a spell check or better still a dictionary.

I don't mind pictures but they won't alter my judgement of the words. Multiple entries are welcome.

This competition will close on Valentines day (Unless someone persuades me other wise)

Jim

PS

That anonymity thing doesn't work if you understand how to use a search engine so I'm not going to pretend it does.

Jim

Very interestiung idea. I may break my rule against contests that don't allow pre-writes and see what I can do.
