Ever been so in love you think that you might die from the sheer intensity of it? Ever been so jaded that you felt absolutely nothing inside, just an empty pit in your stomach, the feelings of self-loathing slowly starting to grow inside? Ever been so angry that you wanted to take all that rage, shove it down someone’s throat, and laugh as they sputter and writhe on the furry clogging their lungs?
This is a contest for passionate EVERYTHING; hate, love, pain, rage, loss, betrayal. Anything worth feeling. In this contest I will give you a series of simple options, basicly telling you exactly what I want, all you half to do is provide (in your own style) the things that my ideas inspire. Of course, there will ALSO be the option of giving me whatever the fuck you want, just as long as its severe.

I think I’ll start off with a personal option; Rene, Markus to some of you was an extremely well known poet on AllPoetry. Last year [June 14, 2006] he committed suicide. He was loved and adored by many poets, and in memory of him if you would like to write a poem/song, or have already written one, please submit. Like many others… I miss him terribly. I loved that boy with all my heart, he was the closest thing I had to a brother, and he was one of the few people that knew me inside and out. I lost my best friend. I never got to say goodbye. 4) Hate; they say that there’s an extremely thin line between love and hate, and many times I think that people cross that line without knowing it. I want to know about that line, I want to know if you’ve crossed it, I want to know when you finally relized you crossed it. Give me your anger, your rage, your misery, give me tragedy!
5) Glitter. Gore. Hollywood Diva’s, Anorexia, Daydreams, Acid Green Clouds, Neon tainted tears, Glowsticks, Dreds, Rainbows, Drugs, Ecstasy, Needles, Alcohol, Addiction, Abortions, Sex, Rape; I want the worse case scenarios, I want the deep dark secrets, I want the lowest point in your life. I want your cravings, I want the withdraws, I want to know how bad you want that fix.

I am sure this won't win - but this is the first poem I ever wrote to honor my husband for the way he loves me with Parkinson's - more than ever in our 30 years together - I would think it an honor just to submit this w/o hope of a trophy!
