Well it has been a while since I have had a contest, but seriously I don't want to give my points away (I am a miser when it comes to points :D)
This contest will have a lot of different options, with which I'll start in order not to be too cliche with the rules for starters :D
OPTION #1:
I love languages, but in this contest, I'll have only three: English, Arabic and Italian. You can write about any topic, but for those who will write in Italian, I need an English Translation, coz I'm still a beginner.
If you write an Arabic poem, I do not need translation.
OPTION #2:
I like fantasy, but for this option I want a poem with both Unicorns and Dragons, you can add more creatures or a maiden or a knight or anything you want, but I want the Unicorn and the Dragon to be present in your poem. (Impress me with your creativity)
OPTION #3:
I want a poem about Nail Polish and or Nails, (colours, images u have in mind while painting ur nails .. etc) I'll put some pics for this one, but you don't have to use them, but feel free to comment on them an or use them :D
OPTION #4:
If you like listening to Kamelot, write me a poem inspired by one of their songs.
OPTION #5:
I have had this in mind for a while, and I want a poem about "Arabian Nights" whether it is the song in Aladdin, or if you've been to any part of the Arab world, or just a fantasy, anything just bring it on :D
OPTION #6:
I want a poem about the pyramids of Giza or Sakkara, any Pyramids in Egypt, or any poem about Ancient Egypt. You may be inspired by anything for the Ancient Egyptian History.
OPTION #7:
I like poems about the elements; Water, Fire, Earth, Heart, ... whatever else there is. You may write a poem about one or more or all.
OPTION #8:
This may seem a bit silly, but I just thought of it. I have my "eye" in my dosplay picture or face image. I'll post it again, for you and you should write me a poem about. What you write about is for you to decide, just use the eye, or get inspired by it.
**RULES**
1) For option number one, a translation is needed if you write an Italian poem. (And seriously, I would like to see some Italian)
2) For option two, A Unicorn and Dragon are a must, anything else is optional.. they could be more than one Unicorn and one Dragon of course, (show me what you got)
3) For the option three, you may use the pictures I am putting, or not. If you want to upload a pic be my guest. (I would like to get some comments on my pics though, so you'll leave them in the contest comments) when I no longer have my Gold Membership, you can find them on Photobucket.
4) For option four, You have to tell me which song inspired the poem, coz I have not listened to much.
5) You are allowed two poems, One may be a pre-write, ONLY if I do not get many entries. But feel free to enter two fresh writes.
6) I am not into lengthy poems, but for the Arabic poems I'll allow it. But Generally not too much.. though I will try to get myself to read it all in one go! (seriously, the poem may be excellent, I just can't keep my butt stuck to the chair and read ... *blush*)
7) For option six, just tell me which part you are writing about, or get me an extract. (it's a long and big history)
8) You may write in rhyme or free verse, or forms or anything, BUT NO Haikus or Senryus or anything that is short, your poems can be short but no less than 10 lines!

OH MY GOSH!!! I have one that fits option 2 perfectly, but it's a prewrite. I'm serious. It's called 'The Dragon And The Unicorn', seriously, and there's a king and a princess maiden in it, too, and knights.
