The Hospitaller Order of St. John
Was founded in the town of Granada
and makes its noble crest out of the pome
belov-ed by Lorca, her native son
For pomegranates, known to burst when ripe
in bloody show of their fecundity,
cast forth their seeds upon the arid land
to wither up or find a planter's hand
So suck upon the meat and know the seed
in presence of the sick and those in need
to spur a universal love to flow
and shred the sham humanity pillows

Rotten Pomegranate
The benign soured fruit with skin of eyes
Pierce the smoothy with a cantankerous tang
Apples in eighty percent still sent fly's
Around the fridge magnets reflection
Of this blender, the pomegranante skin
Onion lick mirrored the grocery section
Missed by the healthy idea. -
