Hi everyone!
This is my first contest so I'm getting some help from Forever Ryan (Ryan Farrell... hence my name). We have decided upon this contest together and will be deciding upon the winner together. Therefore, don't try to please just one of us!
This is a title inspired contest. You will use one of our titles and create a poem.
We don't mind whether it rhymes or is free flow, but we do have a few guidelines:
1)in Rhyme:
PERFECT FLOW, count your syllables if you must and use voices from the sounds around you. Describe what you see, and have the last line in each stanza rhyme. NO FORCED RHYMING WHATSOEVER.
2)in Free Verse:
Use abstraction, and linebreaking will - each linebreak must be done so for a reason, either it be for emphasis or fluidity. Keep it deep but choppy and use your sense to give us great imagery. Make sure it has a unique skeleton and NO OTHER RHYMES. You must finish with a strong ending.

*No poems over 150 lines
*No adult items
*Use mature swearing, if you must use it.
*No chat lingo, slang
*Use spell check, we will only give you one warning if you have a grammitical error
*No STicKy CaPS
*No bashing of other poets, religions or other offensive themes
*Judges decision is FINAL
*Expect critical comments, do not get angry if they're
was something we didn't like
*2 Entries max per poet

Looks like there are some great entries so far! You have some just amazing title options, and I even got my AP sister to take a look at this one. She imidiately ran to her room and starting scribbling madly! This is going to be a hard one to judge! Good luck, and thanks for the great contest!
