This is my second contest...Hurray!
SOLILOQUY:
A speech, usually lengthy, in which a character, alone on stage, expresses his or her thoughts aloud. The soliloquy is a very useful dramatic device, as it allows the dramatist to convey a character’s most intimate thoughts and feelings directly to the audience.

Here it goes:
Let's make-believe.
Shakespheare needs a soliloquy for a new play that he's written. The name of the play is, "Esperanza" (meaning Hope in English). The play consist of this beautiful woman who needs to make a choice between two lovers, Martin and Pablo. They both love her dearly and she too loves them equally. But, because of the times she lives in it is vital that she pick one of them.
a. Write a soliliquy from either the perspective of:
Esperanza, Pablo or Martin.
b. I want depth, emotion, show me the soul of the
character you choose. Show me what their feeling,
and about the dilemma upon them.
c. Left-align only.
d. In the author's note, indicate the character you're
writing about.
e. Free-verse preferred. Rhyme is ok.
