- Final notes: I am sorry I took so long judging the contest, we had to put our dog to sleep a few days ago and I didn't feel I would be able to concentrate and judge fairly so soon after.

I really love this picture. I see white doves symbolizing peace, and purity of nature, and balance, overshadowed by the hazy pollution of an inner city sky. -

I also want to say that I am very sorry about the loss of your dog
. I can well imagine how sad you must be. It is two years this month that we had to do the same thing to our beloved Husky and I still do miss him at times. I wish you comfort in great memories that you will eventually be able to look back on with a smile,
