I assure you, Dear Poets,
that this contest is ran purely out of obligation.
(But we're going to have fun, anyway.
it's my first contest)


This is for anybody who has spent Time,
at my expense, to review and comment my work.
Your Time is far more valuable than my points..
so I'll be spending all I have: 1000 pts

Three rules: (no more..no less)
#1 - I'll be reviewing all comments posted on my work..
If your name is not on my list..you won't place,
Though, I'll still read and critique if you like.
#2 - Not a big fan of sticky cap. Enough said.
#3 - Be real. Be raw. But keep cursing to a minimum.
We're poets here, folks..Use your vocabulary.

#1 - Darkened anguish..
Demons haunting..

and you're hurting..
Let your ink scream out the same!

Angels guarding..

    My Fellow Poets..
    My first contest has been so
    much better than expected.
    I'd like to assure everyone that each piece
    has been read several times..
    I know that there are poems that I haven't
    commented on.. .. ..yet.
    This plethora of art I've been judging
    deserves all my time.
    I just don't think it fair to say,
    "good write" and leave it at that.
    I hope each of you will consider any future contest I promote..and a review on my own work from time to time will never go unappreciated.
