Welcome to my fourth (I think) contest! As stated in the title already, this will be a Pay it Forward Contest!
And this time, I would like you to write children's poetry! You know, these cute little poems that have perfect rhyming and meter! I love them!
My other contest, Happy bithday to myself (LOL) is still open but I feel like doing another one right now.
Oh, right, i have just thought of another option... Write me something about Chemistry, Physics or Maths... even Biology if you like... Something like this... But please keep it simple, I am only 15 (well, I will be on December 5) and not a native speaker of English. Is that clear?
Brownie points for writing about
* the Hydrogen Bond / H2O
* Alkanes
* Any Chemical Element
* Cones
* Linear Functions
Another possibility would be something about History... About the FIRST World War please, I have already seen quite a lot about WW2 but not about WW1, and we're doing that in class at the moment... You could combine it with the second option and write about the use of chlorine gas for example... Note: this has nothing to do with the children's poem option!
Something in Latin.... I need to practise my translating skills.... from Latin to German and then from German to English! See Option #4
I know I'm crazy asking you to write about things related to school/science... But let's see how many entries I'll get...
As this is a Pay It Forward Contest, every of the first three winners will get at least 300 points to be able to start his or her own (Pay It Forward) Contest! I only have 800-something points at the moment, but I will keep on collecting!
Hint (for all three options): I prefer rhyming, if you rhyme and do it well, you have better chances at winning as I am not much of a free verse fan...
--- SUMMARY ---
Options
1) Write a children's poem.
2) Write something about science! (I'm in grade 9 and live in Germany...)
3) Write something about World War One!
4) Write something in Latin, does not have to rhyme. Make sure I can understand it, I've only been studying Latin for two and a half years now (and English for five and a half years by the way ^.^). But you have to know what you are doing. Something about history would be great! (NOT necessarily about WW1, rather about the Roman Empire or something like that...)
Rules
1) No limited number of entries, but no more than one pre-write! I can't check if you are following this rule as I cannot see who enters what... So I hope I can trust you!
2) Nothing negative/dark/sad except for Option #3!
3) No bashing, no swearing (Okay, maybe one word or two but UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE any swear words in Option #1!), nothing adult!
4) Not really a rule, but more of a suggestion: Keep it simple! I don't like poems where I have to look up every second word in a dictionary, it's exhausting!
5) Try to use correct grammar and spelling (I know there is no spell check at the moment...), no chat lingo!
6) StIcKy CaPs ARE allowed... If you love doing that way, go ahead! But make sure you do it manually and don't let your computer do it for you automatically, that's silly!
7) Have fun! (Haha, this one is the best one I guess!)
1 applause for every entry, and of course a comment!
I reserve the right to extend this or close earlier depending on the number of entries I get, and I would REALLY love to get entries for ALL options!
FORTUNAM MAXIMAM! (Good luck!)
IM me if you need help!

Just send me a message or write a comment... This does not only apply to the winners, but to everyone!
Thank you!
