LEMON BONUS
(bonus only, not required)
Yes, it’s back! Due to the AP upgrade I’ve had to revise the reward for this a bit. Anyone who entered my last contest should know how it works: Incorporate lemons into your poem in whatever way, and it will get a triple applaud at the end of the contest no matter how good or bad it is. (But please don’t enter a really horrid poem just for the reward! ) The word “lemon(s)” itself must be in the poem. I will also comment on two additional poems and applaud them as well. This will net you a total of 27 points! You must provide a link to the 2 poems you wish me to comment on in the author’s notes! This is YOUR responsibility and I will not remind you. I will keep a list of these links but will not view any of them until after the contest is judged, as judging is now blind and I’d like to keep it that way.
I will be commenting on all entries after the contest has closed. Be prepared for honest critiques.
PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY COMMENTS I MAKE UNTIL JUDGING IS COMPLETE!

- Final notes: My thanks to all of you first for your wonderful entries, and second for your patience while I judged the contest. (I've been sick for the last week, which slowed me down considerably.) I enjoyed reading every single poem entered. I know you've all heard it said before, but picking winners really was difficult, especially considering the large number of entries.
There are a couple of poems that, even though they did not make it into the finalists list, I have chosen to promote as a sort of "contest host's choice award". Those poems are "Summer Vacation"
and "TAB soda".
Also, for those who took advantage of the "lemon bonus" I will be commenting on the provided links within the next couple of days. If you don't get comments and believe you should have, please IM me.

That would not be too hard for me at the present time. Just as I thought I might get used to or at least like a little bit this NEW way......BOOOOOOOM ! I worked very hard last night trying to get an entry into a contest.....3 or 4 tries later it worked And this morning there were even a few comments....then I got notified of a new comment, I went to the page to reply.......all that showed was the title of the contest and the comments-------no poem?
So I spent another hour this morning re-posting. It is due to close in less than four hours. So if I say Lemon , lemon , lemon to the workings of the site....can I get extra points

I didn't realise this was a contest (my eye sight!) and would not have wasted your promotion points had I known. Saying that though, I do wish you the best of luck with it. I too have a contest going (my first) about Christ and His love at Christmas (and all year round) should you wish to enter it. Take care and blessed be. -

What a novel and different idea for a contest. I tip my hat to your imagination. The lemons thing well thats just weird lol (joking) All the best with your contest and try not to lose your heart to too many things lol.
