This is NOT a love poem!

Hello all my fellow poets and welcome. I'll get right to the point. This is a contest for those in love, but also for those in denial. Ever loved someone with all your heart, but you wish you didn't? That's what this contest is all about.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Deal:
You are writing a poem for the person you love, but you are trying your absolute hardest not to make it a love poem. You simply wish to tell them you care deeply for them and wish them all happiness, but you can't shield behind false assumptions forever. So, when you write, try to conceal your true feelings for this person, but they come out anyway unexpectedly.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Structure:
The first line of your poem MUST be -
"This is NOT a love poem!"
The last line of your poem MUST be -
"This might just be a love poem."
Between those lines is when you are trying to deny your feelings, but it doesn't quite turn out that way. Thaaaaat's right! At the very end, you do admit your love for them, but only with that last line. Romantic huh? Hmmm, not really. But I hope you can have fun anyway.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Any Questions? IM me of course, but it's simple enough right? The only rules for this contest are no cussing, no hurtful words aimed at this person, no erotica (well duh), and no prewrites. Also use proper grammer, and you MUST use serious emotion. Remember, this is true love in denial! Oh, another thing: it doesn't have to be long. You can make it short but don't get too lazy. That's pretty much it people. Get writing, hope you have fun with this! I'm looking forward to what you write.
First place: 300 points
Second place: 100 points
Third place: 50 points
Expect honorable mentions too.
  • Final notes:
    I really enjoyed running this contest and I congratulate the winners and everyone who entered for doing their best. I feel awful to have lost all the touching and sweet comments you guys left during the upgrade, but I still remember what you said. Again great job everyone, and always remember when you're writing love letters that might not or might be for that special someone...
    May the Goddess watch over you all.
    Two thumbs up
    This is a good idea for a contest and I wish you good luck with it. I think this is a example of what your talking about. If not, sorry. hehehehe
    Every time I see you
    You see me
    We take that same path everyday
    That path that's out of our way just to get another look
    To give each other a smile
    You think that I don't know what your doing
    I do know
    I know that you know by now that I'm not coming around to see what's for sale
    I can tell that you want to talk to me by the way you look at me
    I look at you the same way
    Your beautiful eyes keeps calling me to come near
    Is that also why you come around me
    We're both too scared to make the first move
    Not wanting to take a chance and get rejected
    So what do we do now
    it might just be me,but if you wrote something for someone and the opening line was "This is not a love poem",it would kinda make the reader suspiscious,lol,i was suspiscious of the title of the contest before i read,thinking it was going to be bout love poems.
    i have a poem that would fit this,but to put that line at the beginning (and the one at the end as well) would throw it off romantically,and kinda make it silly.
    or are you looking for a bit of humor ?
    but again,this is just me,and im a bit retarded,so.....
    hope ya get some great writes and enjoy judging.
