Ages 12 and Under - Autumn/Winter!

Hello everyone! This is my second contest!



It also has to do with nature.



Here is the topic:



AUTUMN AND WINTER!!!



Here are the rules



1. Please no swearing

2. Please no StIcKy CaPs they are very aggravating

3. Please no violence

4. Please no ridiculing or making fun of other contestants

5. ONE ENTRY per poet

6. Just poems, no stories (sorry Sasha)

7. There might be Honorable Mentions...

8. ONLY KIDS 12 AND UNDER!!



Here are the options



1. Write a poem about leaves. Raking leaves, yellow leaves, leaf piles, etc.



2. Write a poem about chilly weather. If there is no chilly weather where you live, write a poem about how you think it would be like!



3. Write a poem about snow. Snowflakes, snow cones, snowmen, snow women, use your imagination. You may use fantastical elements!



4. Write a poem about Christmas. I know it's early, but I want to see what Christmas means to you. You may write about presents, Christmas Trees, Church, Christmas Dinner, Baby Jesus...anything about Christmas. If you don't celebrate Christmas, please feel free to write about the holiday you do celebrate during December! Be it Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or just about the Holidays.



5. Thanksgiving. Yum! The Pilgrims, turkey, pudding, pumpkin pie, anything about Thanksgiving.



6. Write a poem about ice. Ice cubes, Icing (just kidding), Icicles, ice ice ICE!



7. Write a poem about just Autumn or Winter in general. Use your imagination and have fun with it!







Please write your age and the option you picked. Here are the points!!



1st Place - 300 pts

2nd Place - 200 pts

3rd Place - 100 pts



Honorable Mentions - 50 pts each

    This sounds like a really fun contest! By the way.. I... I.. love..COOKIES AND MILK! LOL. There should be a contest on that! ^^ Happy judging!

    thank you I'm actually allergic to milk, but I thought it would be fun to do that as my username anyway I think I might make a contest about that! thanks for the suggestion
