Ah well hello my friend, it's been a while huh? Well I see you have quite a contest with a theme I am very familiar with. Nothing is quite as inspiring as music. Anyways...the only thing that would hold me back is the fact that I will be leaving on a trip in a week and so If I advance to the next round, I'm not sure when it would start and began. Anyways...if you already have that planned out, tell me and I'll most certainly enter. If not, I may still enter (just in case). Have an awesome week!
-
I love the idea for this contest-will definitely try to get an entry through in time.
Just to confirm- option B- can the poem be losely inspired? I love Alison K's voice but it inspires me to something far from music. It makes me think about emotion, passion and cigarettes.

Awwww Sui thanks so much for the gold!
Truly a shock to me and I wasn't expecting this at all.
A wonderful surprise after such a horrid week.
-
Thank you for the silver, much appreciated
I don't think I deserve a trophy for that poem, but I'l glad that you liked it.
-
Why thank you for the bronze... I look forward to hearing from you about the next round
Excellent contest!

Well rats! This contest popped up on the Features List, and I was reading through it to get a sense of the requirements. It's a fun idea -- some great poets jointly ran a highly popular and similar-themed "Summer Survivor" series a year-and-a-half ago, which had some more than a few hundred participants in the initial stages. It also was syndicated. So I was thinking -- "hey, what's that contest?"
And then I realized Round 2 already has begun... LOL Oh well, it's still a great idea and I recognize some of the poets who are listed as having placed. -
Odd... very interesting contest... But why was it being featured after it closed
that's false advertisement! Lol; good luck with the following acts.
Trial and Error [[never fails]] -
Delete this so people who really want to feature their poems will get seen. This contest is over. This is just rude. Tom B.
-
Hi, I think there has been a mistake, the contest has closed and though there are a further two rounds they are only open to the poets that entered the first round, perhaps you forgot to remove this from the feature box? Oh,I see someone has promoted this on your behalf,I am sure they meant well,it's just a shame as it has proved fruitless.
Hope you at least enjoyed your contest, love and light,Yvette
-
LOL Now that's just damn funny. Contact a mod., if it's bothering you. They can remove it.
-
a good contest i enjoyed popping my head around the corner to nosey. spill ink and twist me into the crazy shape of love...
-
It is an very unique kind of the contest seen here in the featured item here...although it is over but still it makes a communication through with its concept of the contest...welldone...
-
I wish you a very succesful contest , but I will honestly admit that I do not have the discipline to participate in these survivor type contests
Things slip my mind and then all of a sudden the deadline is up and I forgot about it. But I do hope you will get great entries and enjoy them all:0
