Crying a ghost
I wept my funeral;
a graveyard of wind;
foreboding, it was
a silent warning
which shattered
the curves of moonlight.
Pain trembled in dreams
while anguish leapt visions
across the glow
that possessed the fog,
I was entranced by horror
as my blood
ruptured psychic episodes;
eerie flickers of language.

I just LOVE WORD BANKS LIKE MAD! Maybe I'll try this one. The reason I like word banks is that the words are smarter than I would usually choose on my own. hahahahaha!
Cool contest!

You've chosen your wordbanks well, I'll be back to enter this as soon as possible

O sweetheart, what a lovely contest. I do not think I will have time to enter. I am in Round 5 of a contest and the assignment was to write two poems with a deadline. Yikes! Out of a 10 hour day thus far, I spent 7 hours caring for my injured daughter and her dog and daughter. I do not feel I have a life anymore but I am sure things will improve because they already have to some degree--she is getting better and getting around (broken pelvis & tailbone). Love you and will try to catch you on the next one. ♥

Great contest idea, Sis.
I wish my muse would come back, I miss her.
I hope you get a lot of good entries!

I'm laughing as I re-read your contest rules, Susan...Especially Rule #8. So can I ask a question??? Do you mean a 25-poem limit per-person? If so, I really had better start writing more and more and MORE--24-times more entries to this contest! LOL
As it is, I know what you mean...Just waiting for that one contestant that won't!!! Enjoy the contest, Girl!
