If you have ever read some of my poems, you should be able to see I tend to write "emo" poems that talk about abuse, suicide, rape, etc. So, when I was thinking of the subject my contest should be based on, I decided it should be on something I am familiar with. So, dark poems is what I am looking for.
First things first: RULES!
1. No Sticky Caps
2. No Erotica
3. 2 Entry Limit
4. Put What Option Number You Choose In The Comment Box Along With The Phrase "Drop It Like It's Hot."
WHAT? OPTIONS?!?!
Yeah, Options!
Here They Are:
1. Write me a poem about rape. How it affected the person it is based on, what happened to that person, what was racing through their mind when it happened, etc.
2. Write me a poem about drug abuse/addiction. How it started, how it affected someone, whatever happened to them? etc.
3. Write me a poem about suicide. It can be about an attempt, someone close to you that committed suicide, thoughts about it, etc.
4. Write me a poem about someone close to you that died and how it impacted your life.
5. Write me a poem about physical abuse. Being beaten, watching someone get beaten, emotions you suspect someone who has endured physical abuse has, etc.
6. Write me a poem about emotional/verbal abuse. Someone being told they're not good enough, habits that formed from someone being emotionally or physically abuse [ex.. cutting, scratching].
As of now, there is no pre-writes being allowed into the contest, but in the last few days I might allow them.
PRIZES:::
1ST Place- a gold trophy and 400 points.
2ND Place- a silver trophy and 100 points.
3RD Place- a bronze trophy and 50 points.

I am somewhat disappointed that more than a few entries in my contest did not follow my rules.
The option number and/or the phrase "Drop It Like Its Hot" were not put in the authors comments, like I stated would be needed to not be disqualified from the contest.
It lets me know who read the rules, and who did not.
The following poems are the ones that did not completely follow the rules.
Best Friends... By aliceXinXhorrorland
Killing Me, Willingly ByXShatteredWithoutUX
A Prisoner To My Past By tawk
"Stolen Innocence" By myHEROINEx
Please Kill Daddy By Shady Lane
Luckily for you, I am feeling nice.
If you fix the mistakes in less than 10.5 hours [which is midnight in my time zone] then your entry will be allowed to stay in my contest.
If you do not, say hello to a DQ.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on October 26, 2006
- Rewards: Gold: 400
- Final notes: I commented most, and to those I did not, I do apologize. But, I have far too much biology homework to comment on every piece this evening. I saw alot of fantastic writing and a great amount of potential, as well as some poems that flat out....sucked. In the end, these three poems were the ones I think were the best, although the race was quite tight. Congrats to the winners, and to everyone else, good luck on your writing in the future!
