Just an update to let you know that all 3 judges are working hard to go over our notes and carefully choose the poets who will go to the next round..
It should not be too much longer
One of the judges lives in an area where they are having severe weather which has caused a power failure, but we will bring you results ASAP TY for your patience

So, auditions are over now and 3 judges (myself, looneyeclipse, and jasminerose) will be reading every entry, and I promise to comment on every entry. Be assured all 3 of us will be reading and rating each entry and we will be combining our votes into one and then choosing 25 poets to move on to Round 2.
and of course we will choose the 3 winners of this round to recieve trophies and points.
FOr round two, the 25 chosen will be given a theme and rules for that round.

LOL yes, Thank goodness I have two other judges to help me cause the decision is going to be so difficult! The best of the best poets have entered! lol. I wanted the first round to allow poets to subit their best poems which would be prewrites. I never allow them, so you all deserve it this time! . I had a contest last year called "American Idol...Poetry Style. It was 4 rounds and you should have seen the entries, amazing! TY for entering!!!

I actually kind of like it myself which is rare.. usually I have to grow into my poems.. it takes a while of re reading them to come to love and be proud of them.. but I think I am already proud of this one.
