This sounds like a wonderful contest,a happy time love is, and lots of whimsy poems should be inspired by this ..I may try this, and I wish good luck to all who enter . -
Heh. Love is almost like what a drug does to a person. You get addicted and a little...well, unpredictable and crazy.
I guess that leaves some people to wonder if love is really something GOOD, (since drugs are BAD!) but indeed; Love is a way to allow you to express emotions that are embedded within a pocket of the soul, in which one day someone special comes along and rips those seams right out! Heh, anyway, very cute contest, I'm hoping to write something in time for this. Good luck and enjoy the results of many poets! -

haha love the idea for this, but humor poems aren't exactly my forte! or something...I'm not really feelin this now, but I'll try to come back if something hits me!!! wait are prewrites allowed? nope okay never mind...thought one might work, because when I think of it...it is just a bunch of silly things I do for love...anyway GREAT CONTEST CONCEPT!!! good luck with it!!!

I thank you for the gold...the ironic part of this write, is that I had to wait many years to find the real true love of my life. The irony of it all, the girl who sadly was treated with a crawling turtle...was similar to apprearance and beauty to the love of my life now...33 yrs was a long time, but was well worth the wait, I just had to wait for fate and destiny...Thank you so much...smile and hugs..David -
