Yola all. This is my third contest in the making and it is again an options. Prewrites are allowed because I figure- hey- if I haven't read them, why do I care? So here it goes- I'm finding myself obsessing over the hurtful things in my life, so I want to hear some of your own life stories in poem form.
Rules:

Options:
1.- I just broke up with my bf because he cheated on me. Write me about your experience with the dark side of love.
2.- My mother suffers from severe depression. Write me about how the depression of loved ones also affects family and friends.
3.- I know my dad loves me, but he expresses it as a distant uncle or something of the sort. Write me about a loved one that is closed off from you or others.
4.- Write me anything else that is in your life right now, any feeling and any struggle.

I'm sorry to hear about what happened! That's always so horrible. But in the end it's best, because I'd rather you be heartbroken for a bit and know the truth than go on oblivious to it and be living a lie. Many hugs for you!!!

I'm sorry you're having a hard time. I can def. relate to loved ones having depression. I myself have it as do five other members of my family (both grandmothers, mum, brother, aunt). I know it's hard but things will begin to look up eventually and in the mean time I wish you only the best.
