Hey all,!!!

Just decided to do another contest,,I have some really great people on my myspace.. artist,bands, writers and stuff, and this one is for an artist by the name of Jordan Starr... she is amazing,,I was looking at the new ones she posted and this one just jumped out off the page at me.. so please take a peek and Tell her what you think,,, give her some words to match the beauty that she has rendered here... I will be sending these entries to her, she is most excited to see what her painting evokes,,,

OK all here are the rules...

bashing.... come on people we are mostly all adults here,,lol
erotica,, sensual is OK.... but please place accordingly...
in your author notes.. please leave a message for Jordan..as I said these will all go to her, for letting me use her painting..

OK that's it I think.....

first place will get 400 pts
second place will get 200 pts.
and third will get 100 pts.
Honorable mentions will get 15 pts

so have fun ..

I have sent the entries to the Artist,, she will be helping me jude these.. and here is something that came to me when I first saw this..

Swirling  touches of heaven lost
Spilled pieces of me left in the frost
Soft smooth grace of flowing lines
Swept away the pain of my eyes
Dragging me there in delightful repose
The eddies of this sway
This  ride of this life.. taken away in your beauty
The passion, the light….

Jordan has had a tremendouis amout of things going all inher life, but this was a tremndous honor for her.. here is some things out of the e-mail that she sent me.. and just so you all know, she is seriously considering having all of these put in to a book, to be published,, we may hold more contest like these for some of her other paintings....Thank you once again and Many Blessings-


    "I am so glad I didn't put the title with the piece...it would've, I think, cast a pre conceived image.

    What struck me deep inside, and what is the inspiration to create a book out of this experience, is the fact that EVERY SINGLE AUTHOR caught a true part of my emotions in their poetry. Uncanny, if you will. These people never met me, had NO idea of my situation, yet- they could grasp, just from looking at my art, things about me that were only deep down inside......
    Again- this was SO HARD- because each poem, in its own way, depicted an emotional aspect for me, and PLEASE relay this to all who participated.

    I am deeply flattered, awed, and impressed by every entrant.

    And thank you for this wonderful opportunity; this was an amazing experience for me. It gave me such candid insight into how strangers are affected by my art."

    What a great idea for this contest. I can only imagine how great the artist feels knowing how many different ways thier art affects others. What a great venue for relaying that information. Awesome idea...I am going to see what I can come up with, I know what instantly come to my mind when I saw this pic so will see if I can turn that into something pleasing.
