3rd contest
Lately I've been feeling really low
And I've turned to some poetry to make me happy
I found two that I really liked in a book that's been in the family for years but now I want some new ones
Make me feel better
Give me hope
Even cheer me up
Or tell me how you got past this stage
Only enter 3 times
Other than that I just want you to make me smile
Make me think differently
Here's some examples of what I'm looking for:
Look For The Bits Of Blue
Days may be sad and weary
Birds may forget to sing
Yet, after winter dreary
Comes glad and sunny spring
So in the days of sorrow
Bear this in mind 'tis true
Sadness must go and joy follow woe
So look for the bits of blue
When skies are overclouded
Hiding the sun from sight
When days in woe are shrouded
When life seems dark as night
Know that clouds must scatter
Heavens sun again peep through
Night soon pass and days come at last
So look for the bits of blue
When sorrows press around you
Like clouds across your sky
Let not their weight confound you
Think of by-and by
Sorrow is not forever
Gladness will come anew
Lift up your eyes and gaze at the skies
And look for the bits of blue
Have fun, good luck
