I know I said I was going to hold off from posting my contests that I have on my hard drive until I judge the six I still have to complete. But this is a spur of the moment contest for someone who is very special to me for she is like a mom and is to plenty of us on this site. She just recently lost a son and I want anyone and everyone to shower her with much love.

If you would also like to write her a poem to help her through this time of grieving, I'm sure she could use it right now. Use any style you wish, just cheer her up if you can and I would appreciate it as well. She is such a great lady. This contest will close 12 September 2006 and I will try my best to get it judged on 14 September2006.

Awwww Ted E I just found this..You are such a darling to have this contest for me..I am taking it very hard at the moment as my Doctor has told me I could lose my other 3 children if they don't have themselves tested..as it's gone from my Dad to my brother who died aged 47 to Bob and I and now my son and could even affect my grandchildren and great grandchildren later on in life. Thank you sweetheart and everyone who has visited my Author page a left a kind nessage, plus the poems here.

What a lovely gesture on your part. It's nice know that people care about other people. This is such a sad occasion but with a support system I hope it helps Joan; if even a little bit. I know her loss is great and I can not even imagine losing a child.

Dear Ted E I'm sorry I haven't been back to check this out, I've been in hospital for 3 days with pneumonia, I only came home last night. I'll be back after I have a rest to read the rest of them and I'll print them off and keep them in a folder.

Darling Desire, Congratulations my dear friend on winning the GOLD You entry is so beautiful and gave me so much consolation. I'm am in New Zealand at the moment, the trip was planned and paid for long before Brians death. I't's done me a world of good to get away grom the sorrows of the past 2 months and Bob went to our Daughters for a week, so he too has had a break. Thank you once again my darling I have printed all the poems of and they're placed in a folder with the rest of Brians memories. Ted E is such a great and thoughtful guy.
