1) No Prewrites! *Sorry guys but every time I allow prewrites that is all I get. Dig deep and give me something original and new.
2) Cuss all you want! *I don't care either way. Just don't let it detract from the poem.*
3) Erotica is good! BUT, I don't like those trashy slang words like pussy or dick; use metaphors and tap into your imagination. I'm a lesbian so lesi erotica is always welcome! But I'll accept girl on guy; sorry, no guy on guy. It's just I'm not that into guys anyways so two of them isn't going to tickle my fancy. OH, AND NO S&M!!! Tying or cuffing is okay but no torture or demeaning or anything like that!*
4) **DO NOT, AND I REPEAT, DO NOT DEGRADE THE OTHER WRITERS! No nasty comments or anything like that! Trust me you do not want to piss me off!**
5) **If you can't take honest criticism turn around now! I will be honest but I will not be mean! I will give you all constructive criticism! Almost every contest I have I have someone that messages me after I have commented on their piece and I always go out of my way to be nice in any comment I make! So if you send me a nasty message because you don't like what I said about your poem I will pull you out of the contest.**
6) You can enter three times but make sure it is always under a new topic!
7) And put the topic in your author's comments as well as an explanation as to what inspired your poem.
8) No stickycaps or chat speak. Let's all try to be adults and use proper english. Oh, and spell check is now your best friend.
