Thank you so much dear Sandy. I just woke up and saw your message. At first, I thought I was still too sleepy and misread the message. "Empty Space" was one of the more simple poems that I have written. However, after seeing it for a second time, I felt emotional again. Typically, I will not do this. I'm my own toughest critic. I am honored that you saw the emotion that I felt.

I love every piece that you have written. You are one of the most creative poets at AP. You my dear set the standards for all of us poets to live up to. This is great thing. Competiton only makes one better. I never get upset over well written critical remarks and suggestions either. These also makes us better. Specializing in Mathematics and Education, I am very passionate in learning. Thank you again so much. The idea to have two sets of trophies, I believe, is great. I will keep this in mind when I have a contest in the near future

Thank you and keep writing so many wonderfully pieces as you have thus far. I'm learning much from reading your pieces

    WONDERFUL COMMENT

Wow David, I am glad you are happy about your trophy. It is hard to just pick three sometimes. I don't usally give two sets but there were many heartfelt poems in this contest. You honor me with your words. I like you, write from my heart. I have been through so much in my life, happy sad, tragedy, mad, physical and mental abuse and my share of heartache so I just draw on my emotional memories. With my love for God I have forgotten most of the pain but that pain cloud always seems to pop back in my life. But sometimes the the pain is worth it. In my situation now it is worth it. The good outways the bad. Sometimes that is all we can hope for. I am happy now and that is what matters. Thank you for this wonderful comment. Take care, sandy

Oh David this deserved the Gold. I know the pain you feel and it came out in your poem. I do hope you are feeling better. You are right about the kindness shown to us on allpoetry. I would be lost without my friends on here because sometimes family do not understand the pain we are in. God Bless you friend. You take care of yourself. Sandy
