This will be fun, but PLEASE follow criteria EXACTLY as the following:
1.) Above your poem, I'll need you to give me your Author's Web Address.
2.) In your poem, describe:
A.) What is important to you in your life so far. Detail it in a way that makes me sure you're serious.(this can be humorous, but heartfelt too!) Though I want honesty, it must not contain any offensive language. Colloquialisms, cliches, and street lingo are alright long as they're 'tastefully and not wastefully' used.
B.) I would like you to tell me why you need an interactive site (as a place for inspiration) for insight and what it would take to KEEP you writing with us! Explore the reasons you want to get better as an example.( You do NOT have to use the name of "AllPoetry" in the poem.)That's the challenging part of it, but it can be done. Be dramatic or expand this possibility. Do it in your own style, any way that's natural.
3.) I want clear thoughts or images in words, although some ambiguity or metaphoric language is fine. I want you to give me your BEST!

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on April 18, 2003

- Final notes: CookieZeal: All of you did just wonderfully for the most part. I had to go with the theme, and the content with form. Were these mine, however, I would do some touching up. I still edit even the ones I submit for publications!
Don't give up if you didn't get a cup. It just meant I had to choose from the most important part of the criteria. If you'd like to know how close it was, IM me. Otherwise, I'm happy to have you participate. Contests sharpen us, and we mustn't look at just the points or the cups. Trying is nearly all of it!

whoah...well. there are many kinds. sarah..thank you, for being so defending of my intent. If anyone has a problem with this contest or any, all they have to do is not participate or ask me in IM. Simple as that.
All I want is clear expression as to what's important in one's life and why this site is an anchor for that decision. Nothing contesting about it
