Help with my writers block contest

I have a bad case of writers block. It is like my poetical muse has disappeared. I want to enter contests with something fresh but nothing comes to me. I want you to inspire me with one of your poems. I need all the help I can get. Anyways, I like most subjects. The only ones I don't like are erotica, adult and adult humor poetry. Thank you!!!

The prizes are TBA. But obviously, 1st prize is gonna be 300 points and a gold trophy.

Have fun and try to inspire!!!

P.S.
My Dad is out of town all this week. And my MOM don't let me online much due to the fact she hates doing things alone. So it might take me awhile to read all the entries. But I will get it judged properly if it is the last thing I do!

P.S.S.
I most likely won't be able to start reading the rest of the entries I haven't read until Sunday or Monday. I have been hanging out with my Mom since my Dad has been gone. But he will be home Sunday. So please do not be mad if I have not read your poem yet. Because I will get to it. Thank you!!!

Another Authors Note:
I most likely will not get this judged before next weekend. A whole bunch of crap has been coming up. And I am leaving town tomorrow and not coming back until late Saturday. Hopefully I shall get to read what I have left of the entries this coming week. But I never know from day to day what is gonna happen. So have patience!!!

Contest is Over

Sorry it took me so long to judge this contest. I had a lot of stuff going on that kept me from judging in a timely manner. Anyways, I enjoyed all your entries. All you are winners in my books.

Writers' block... is indeed a rough time. I'm sure everyone on here can understand. I hope you find what you're looking for in this contest, and get back to writing.

Do NOT try to override "Writer's Block" .... Be grateful for it! It is your subconscious mind telling you that your imagination and creative faculties have been overstretched and need a rest! Your poetic batteries are "flat" ... instead of trying to force them to operate on low power, take time off to recharge them... Rest, relax, read the poetry of the "greats", play sport,or do whatever else will refresh you... and catch up with your correspondence and other outstanding chores... and the poetry will return in due course.

You are not, I think, a professional writer (yet) so there are surely no deadlines to meet. And yes, if you want to enter a "big-prize" competition and have nothing new to send, it is disappointing... But there will be other competitions, and anything you "forced" would be unlikely to succeed anyway.

By the way, in case you ask - yes, professional writers do learn how to overcome "Writer's block"... One does it by relying on technical tricks learned over the years, on phrases and words collected in one's personal "wordhoard", on recycling one's former work... and on remembering that the household bills have to be paid, and if one does not meet ones's deadline there will be no money to pay them. But doing this is a very considerable strain - and one is usually left with an awareness that what one has sent to the publisher can be termed no more tham "adequate"...

So, please... do NOT force things... When your Muse has had a good rest, she will return to you!
