A wonderful idea for a contest,to invite the sharing and creativity of all the values that create a civilized society,if we offer loving thoughts it invites unity,promotes peace and engengers mutual respect.
May I suggest that you consider opening this contest up to pre writes?Poets haven't always got the time for a fresh write yet may have a pre write that echoes peace,love,unity and repect.After all,a poem in a book is returned too again and again when it has a message that we appreciate,surely it is the same with a poem already posted?
Of course you had best specify only one entry per poet or you may get swamped with entries!
I like that you have not requested anything else ie you have not requested that entrants place " Lonikins is queen of her domain" or asked that a couple of your posts are read,you have simply invited us to be creative about UNITY,LOVE,PEACE and RESPECT and that is heartwarming.
I haven't many points left but will use what I have to promote this to inspire entries,there are wonderful poets here who grace the page with their poetry and beliefs,I hope they have time to enter,good luck with your contest

This is a great idea for a contest. In our school, we had to write something on social responsibility. and it gave us an opportunity to actually ponder about the world and yourself and how u could help others earn good deeds. I wrote on honesty, a long essay on honesty... Are essays allowed? this is a wonderful contest. Thanks for hosting this contest. Good luck!
