Make it Your own

Well, as you know this contest is for 400 points. Yes the BIG 400 OK moving on.
~WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU~
We want you to rewrite the Pledge of Allegiance. We want you to express what your America is, what your life is about, or what tickles your fancy. But, there is a but. You have to write it in the form of the Pledge.
This is a collaboration. Between myself (-Death by Tears-) and my cousin (bakacoconut).

~Rules~
1. Only three entries (between it is the magic number)
2. No sticky caps
3. no all caps
4. Be as Vulgar as you wish
5. No poems directly about sex, it can be Incorporated into the poem, just no full poems of smut.
The Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United states of America,
and to the republic for which it stands,
1 nation under God indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.

Here are some Examples.

I pledge Allegiance to my beer,
When I should be taking care of my children,
and to the strip club that I'm in,
one vicinity infested with drugs,
with cigarettes and Booze for all.


I pledge allegiance to my couch from the house on 3rd Ave,
and to the remote that changes the channel,
4 loud family members under God,
with fights and punishments for all.

Well I believe that is it

1st place = 400 points
2nd place = 150 points
3rd place = 75 points

    I congradulate you all becasue you all did such an awesome job. I am sorry to say that not all could win. I'm glad you all streched out into other places of writing because now you know that you are more talented then you think. Thank you all for entering and good luck in the up and coming contests.

    This is very interesting and creative, especially with the whole lets change the pledge of alligence since it says the word God in it deal.....anyways, this is really cool and i wish you all the best of luck in this contest, and good luck judging. i may enter later though, who knows???

    When thinking of this contest I didn't even realize that the controversy of the whole word God in the pledge was still active. I understand where people come from when they don't want God mentioned in a pledge to a country that has a very diverse population anyway, this didn't really have anything to do with that, it was just a creative way to show people how your America would be or is working. I hope this doesn't offened you. I also hope you will still enter. Thanx for the heads up, well comment.

    Ok so the last stanza is in the form of the pledge! Please consider it anyway! Iwas inspired by your contest to write something very defferent from my own style, and althouhg I did go off the guidelines a little (ok so 5 stanzas but whos counting!?) I still incorporated them! PLease dont DQ me! Ok, just wanted to clear that! Thanks!
