How would you make your country better? Here's your chance to voice your ideas in poetry or in an essay.
Most of us have ideas which we believe would improve our nations or the world. I want you to write a poem or essay expressing your thoughts. If you can write a really good poem, one which you believe is publishable, go for it. Otherwise, write a short essay of 75 to 300 words. Serious entries please, others will be ignored. Humor is acceptable.

There may be points for 2nd, 3rd, and honorable mentions if I am impressed. If I feel the winner is publishable, more points may be added to first place.

this should prove to be a facinating idea. I look forward to checking back and seeing all the great ideas people come up with. I do hope that people will do more than just talk about what they WOULD do, I hope tehy feel that they CAN DO it also. Great idea.
