This contest is a collaboration between myself and romantic visionary. We've compiled a list of titles that require some abstract creative thinking. The purpose of this contest is to test out both your poetic talent and creativity. We don't want repeats of the same thing over and over, so we've decided to do things a little bit differently.
The premise is simple. If you wish to enter, IM romantic visionary and request to be given a title. You may write in any style you choose, as long as it is in poem format. No stories this time. Use the titles as creatively and uniquely as you can (but don't get too extravagant with it, we have to be able to see how the title relates!)
Each author may enter one poem. This may be changed depending on the number of entries.
No prewrites. This is obvious, because it's highly unlikely you have a poem with the same exact title that will be selected for you.
Comments on either of our works are not required. We hold very fair contests. You will not get "brownie points" for commenting. You cannot buy our vote. If you read our work and happen to enjoy it (or not enjoy it) and feel the need to comment, by all means, go for it--we like comments. But keep in mind it won't make you win.
The same as above goes for other contestants. If you are going to critique another contestant's poem, do so honestly, and with well thought out consideration. But again, it will not boost your chances of winning.
Friends of ours may enter, but you will be judged the same as anyone else, no crying to us. If you know us well enough to be considered a good friend then you already know how we are and where we stand on those matters. If you want the points, earn them.
We will not put limitations on things like Internet slang, caps, sticky caps, or misused grammar. Poetry is poetry and we as artists are allowed to remake the rules in this instance. But make sure if those are the paths you have chosen that it makes sense with your piece, because it too will be judged as a part of the poem.
Do take the time to spell check, and edit. If you post it and never look at it again and have 15 spelling errors I will be mentioning it, and unless everyone else entered with an equal lack of concern you have slim chances of being considered.
Notes to the Authors
We won't be giving out critical critiques this round. If you would like one, select the box, and if we have time we will do our best.
This is set to close in two weeks, this time may be lengthened or shortened depending on entries and circumstance.
First prize will get 600 points, second and third as well as any honorable mentions will be decided based on the quality of entries we receive.
Judging
We will be using two factors when judging this contest: the quality of your work and the creativeness with which you used your title.

I want first to thank everyone for their patience, you've all been really understanding about all the crap going on right now. I just wanted to be sure everyone was reviewed carefully.
I want to thank both Kristy and Helene, for collaborating with me here. All contestants should have a comment from at least one of us. But all were read by each of us, I promise.
This is going to be sort of short and too the point, I don't have a lot of time and it's been a really bad day.
We had some really amazing works submitted here, sadly I don't really have the point build up I usually do to give out really large prizes or extra trophies as I normally like to. Because of this we've only chosen a few HMs, though there are sooo many more submitted here worth recognition and a read.
With that said, the winners are as follows;

This is one of my absolute favorite kind of contests. I love to be able to think in new directions, to use a title that says one thing to say something completely different. Kudos to you for hosting this contest! I'm going to IM romantic visionary right now to get my title
