This is only my second contest and I am still just getting the hang of it. I know that this is a pretty heavy topic but I would like to see some honest and well written poems. I wanna not just know your feelings but actually feel them. Put your best effort in. I will read and comment (or try to comment) on every poem. Closes Thursday the 6th unless there is alot of entries before then. So, here's what I want in the conest and look, there is options.
1) Write tastefully about physical self destruction (such as eating disorders etc.)
2) Write about mental self destruction.
3) Write about mental destruction caused my another person
4) Write about other self destructive tendancy (Substance abuse, etc)
Okay, those are the options, if you think of another topic that is out of the box but still in this realm of thinking pm and I may let you do that.
The rules. I know, so annoying.
1. No sticky caps. I will not only be dq'd but I will beat with a stick for even thinking of making me deal with trying to read that.
2. Profanity is okay if it's tasteful and needed in your poem.
3. No pre-writes for this one.. sorry.
4. Don't disrespect any of the other entries in this contest. People work hard on their poetry and while constructive critism is a great tool tearing people or their work down is wrong.
5.Please write the option you choose in your comment box. Thanks.
6.Well, that is it.. for now.
Give me something good to read people.
First place 300 points
Second and Third still to be decided.
And Honourable mentions if there is still more amazingly deserving poems.
Later Tater. Nikki.
