Hey Everyone! Well... this is my second contest and my first one went so good, I just had to do another one!
Ok... this time for this contest I'm being a little more specific! I want a poem about abortion. I am very against it and I would like to see what you all think about it in a poetic form.
Rules
1. no swearing
2. only one poem per person
One other thing, if would be nice if you could comment on other ppls poems too. It's not required, but it's a nice thing to do.

I've actually written several poems about abortion, though I don't tend to write wether or not I'm for or against, but more the process and the emotions associated with it for someone going through that. So, I suppose my question would be wether or not you want poetry from the "for" or "against" stance, or poetry that just tells a story associated with abortion. And, how will you view poems that are "for" it, when you've stated that you're against it? Just curious.

I dont' really care what kind of poem you enter... just pick your favorite one. And even though I'm against it, I will not be biased, I had to write an 8 page paper on abortion without being biased, so it won't be a problem.

An interesting contest on a very controversial subject manner. I must commend you on that alone. Not many would take on such a topic especially being against it. I am pro choice. Personally for MYSELF I would never have one unless there were serious and severe health risk, birth defects or such present to make it all the more difficult. I would not abortmy unborn, I could never do it. But I do believe that there are certain curcumstances in which an abortion may very well be the best answer for all those involved including the unborn child. This is merely my personal opinion, but everyone is entitled to one and theirs should be fully respected. Again I commend your for taking on such a topic for a contest. I wish you many entries and luck with the judging.
