(Though for all ages, please target the children’s audience.) In the allegory and symbolic language of C. S. Lewis coupled with the zany and clever alliterations of Doctor Seuss, write a limerick in parody what Christian salvation, or grace, is. Play with the language or spelling some if you want. Just so it makes sense. Judging will be on the tightest and clearest of its defining as well as the poetic content.ONLY 5-6 lines required, please!
All participant’s names will be mentioned on my author’s page. The works of the Winner (who also receives 250 points) and those of the runners-up (who will receive 20 courtesy points)*will appear on my author’s page. It will be fun, but the limericks MUST fit the criteria. I will make a selection by March 19th. I’m anxious for you to start. Thank you for your time!

I want to thank all of you for trying to make several statements using a ruled form to illustrate 'Grace' to the thought pattern of a child. It was not easy.
All of them were wonderful, but as you know, criteria is very important in a final decision.
Definition was the first important factor!
A parody means *spoof* or satire, and it had to said in a way that is pleasant and not laborous.
I have to admit, it was a struggle between nike and Cinara. Both are to be commended.
All poet's names will appear on my author's page as a courtesy for their submitting. God bless you all. -
Thank you Sherry, for being cute with your animated limerick. I enjoyed it. You know how I love you and am glad we both know Christ as Saviour and LORD!!!
Also, Ednard Collins, it was obvious that you know what 'Grace' is and you were very detailed on the explanation. Glad you are a broher in Christ! Good limerick!!
Then, Trose. You were so sweet to apply your thoughts to this subject. Don't stop trying, as you were pretty close as well!
I'm pleased to have you as a sister in Christ, Jesus. -
I am honored that you picked my piece.
A couple of years ago I wrote a piece call "Fishers of Men" that I will be adding to my list shortly. It is about people who choose to go out and spread the Gospel. If you get a chance, look it over and let me know what you think. Again, thank you for sellecting my work. -
