This contest is for you to define as your enlightenment.
As in my group application of the Enlightened ones...the meaning is enlightened hearts, minds & souls. I would like to take a look at what is your enlightenment or the beginning of the new awareness in you. Take your pen anywhere you'd like with this. The only thing I ask is please label it appropriately. Example- if it's adult themed please label it adult or erotica.
You might want to check back because I will add to this later. If I don't feel it fits the category of the contest I will comment and remove.

BRAVO! How wonderful to see a contest on such a wonderful topic. Enlightenment is one word but there is so much inside it to decipher. Maybe it is telepathy, but a few minutes to an hour ago, I used the word 'enlightenment' in a contest poem. Our minds must have been on the same wavelength I'm glad there is some time before this closes, because I need to rest a bit and then see where my muse goes with this. Thank you for the lovely picture and contest. May the best win!

Oh MY! There is so much that has brought me to a better understanding of life and who I am, what my purpose is here on Earth, what it is I am suppose to do, where I should and should not go... Hmm---I will have to contemplate a bit, but I am bookmarking this to be sure to come back to it before the contest closes. You have enlightened me and you already know how. That would be an interesting write my sister. I am thinking! Great idea! Great contest!

Wow Joy, wonderful contest theme here and I know you will get MANY great entries for it. I wish my muse wasn't in hiding as I really would love to write for this but I doubt I will have much luck
I have one pre-write that would be just perfect and fitting here but I know I could never write anything new unfortuantely.
So I will just say, much luck in the judging and I will keep my eyes on this because I know it will be interesting

i have a poem, that i would like to repost. i wrote it with a good freind a year ago. even tho i took everything offline as you know. recently she has been back on the site, that she is up to it now. i was wondering.... if i can enter it. the poem is kinda about "enlightenment" as love poems go you know.. um... i just was wondering if it was ok to have two entered or not. its kinda long cuz it was a collab thing, and i know this isnt a collab contest or anything but.... ya know? it just kinda fits i spose, in my mind. its not spirtualy enlightening or anything prolifically profcient like that ya know im just not feeling up to writing something like that lately i guess. you know me, i cant even put a finger on my own muse half the time. lol. um... well k. let me know.

Thank you for the love there was a great turn out... but it seems the poems are disapearing now... im not sure i read the other medal winners. I was holding off commenting till after the contest... such is the pity. Could you list the winners?? then i can hunt them down on my own
