Alrighty then... this is my first contest, after about a year here I finally have enough points and I thought "Hey what the hell? Let's do this".
Here's the thing, anything goes... But make it worth the time to read. If you're going to write something hopeful, I want to "feel it", I want my heart pounding or my heart at my throat.
If you're going to write something sad, I don't expect it to make me cry, but make me feel sorry or feel what you're feeling.
If you're going to write about Love, then hey whatever, love is love, I have no boundaries for this.
Lyrics are acceptable.
RULES
1. No "I want to kill myself" poetry. Frankly. I think it's annoying.
2. No cutting, gory, bloody, head decapitating poetry.
3. Don't over do the swearing, I don't mind it, but keep it to a minimum.
4. Let's Keep erotica out of the running.
5. 3 entries per poet
6. All those other basic rules you.
Final note, I'm very blunt but very accepting. I will not be judging this on my own, I'm hoping my dear friend "Jaded Lily" will give me a hand on this.
Alrighty that's it, enjoy.
Any questions, just ask.
UPDATE: How do I put this lightly... hmmm... you guys made my life hell with all these entries! lol. jk. Jaded Lily and myself will be reading all the entries but will not necessarily be commenting on every single one at the moment due to the overwhelming entries in the contests first 2 days. Rest assured we will not let you down, just be patient as we also have lives outside of AP =P. Thanks to all of you who entered =). Rock on and on a sublimal message... I give you a "Whole Lotta Love".

I want to thank you so very much for the gold trophy on "A Daughters Return" and I'm so pleased that you liked my write. I'm on today just by chance and can't stay long, I had a heart attack mothers day weekend and a triple bypass surgery that followinf monday. I'm just thankful I'm here. I will be writing more as soon as I re-coop from surgery as just this messege alone is taking me forever to type. Thank you again and I do hope you will read more of my work. Also, congrats to everyone else too. Gary
