hey peoples!
this is my...um i think it is my 4th contest? well that doesnt matter so lets get on with it
the story is that I have a HUGE crush on one of my teachers (another case of me meeting hopeless love...we are now pretty tight, lol) and i wanted to do a contest so i though to get people to write about student teacher crushes so i can (hopefully) see that i am not alone.
***RULZ***
1. usually I allow erotica, but this is the law and stuff here, and this is a touchy subject, so please keep it to a minimum (you can do like kisses and stuff but nothing beyond that...
)
2. this "love" that i have for my teacher is sad, because i can never have him, so i would like to see sad! make me cry because of how much i can relate to it. make it be like diana and endymion, and how they came from two different worlds and they couold never be together.
3. you can write in any form, but i love free verse and any abstract type of poetry, so creativity in your style will give you brownie points.
4. please stay on topic. in the past when i allowed pre writes people submitted stuff that was totally off topic so i had to dq them, and it was really annoying. if you DO have a prewrite that would be appropriate for this contest, im me.

i am now allowing prewrites. if it is not about the topic though, it will be dqed
5. DON'T SUCK!!!
***PRIZES***
1st----300 points and a shiny gold thing
2nd---100 points and a siver thingy magigy
3rd---50 points and a bronze something or other

since there are next to no entries, people can enter a love poem to like a teacher figure. Like someone who taught you something really important in life. you can also write about hopeless love, like you love someone but you can NEVER have them, either because they hate you, or the law, or whatever. PLEASE I NEED MORE ENTRIES!!!!
It will be open for only one more day because i am waiting for one more entry. sorry for the wait

they are from a greek myth. diana was the goddess of the moon, and she loved endymion, but he was a mortal shephard, and the gods can't marry mortals. so she loved him from afar. she begged zeus (the king of the gods) to make him immortal, but he ended up falling asleep for all eternity, and he dreamed about this beautiful woman (which was diana)
she had 50 daughters with endymion, but he never knew that she was real...
yeah, thats them in a nutshell

Nice contest, and good to be part of it. The words of the winning selection were good, just the overall feel of the entry was spoilt for me by the glaring spelling mistakes, lack of capitalisation and punctuation. Also ... the name of the contest should have been My poor duct-taped heart.

Interesting contest you held here - think many students have crushes on their teachers, especially those young and sexy ones! Can lead to all kinds of problems if not dealt with properly. Some interesting entries too.
