I turn 30 on the 4th May and have been having a bit of a rubbish time of it lately! So i am hoping that the fab people of AP could cheer me up a bit
Write me something that will make me smile or chuckle even, happy and upbeat is all good,
anything goes as long as its not vulgar!
No death, cutting , suicide etc etc happy upbeat poetry please

Commenting on others writes is just a nice thing to do after all we all like to read our own feed back don't we
I will try and comment on everything as i find it frustrating when hosts don't do that

Honey,I doubt I can think of a fitting birthday accolade,am thinking way too intensely at the moment but had to drop by and say Happy Birthday to you!Trust me,whatever you feel about the big 30 it is but a number,you will still be you,like all the things you like to do but will be a bit wiser.Put your favourite outfit on,spend time with your favourite people and have fun!!!

Happy Birthday! Mine is the 5th of May. This is a very creative way to enjoy your day. Turning 30 wasn't ALL that bad, lol. I hope you get a lot of entries for your contest. I wrote a poem already about my birthday and how I felt about it. So I can't use it, too bad. Have a great day.

wow...another Taurus, know wonder I love you!!! and I always wanted to turn 30 for some reason...turning 40 was the turning-point for me! but I'll see what I can do to get a poem together trying to remember how it was way back then!

I hope you are feeling a little more cheerful now... It may comfort you to know thatI had my 70th birthday last week, and celebrated it by going off with three colleagues to do a gig - and other poetry related events in Lviv and then travelling on alone to Kyiv for another such event. Total travelling distance - about 1500 miles - of which half o which was done by train... All this, furthermore, only y weeks after I had undergone a radical mastectomy - and with chemotherapy awaiting me as soon as I returned home. I mention this not to boast... but simply to point out that I feel as young at 70 as I did at 30 - and considerably younger than I did at 20 when I was given a life-expectancy of six months!!!! "Old" is an attitude of mind... I am not old.You are not old... no one in full possession of their mental powers is old - unless they choose to be!
