OK this is my first contest so I decided to come up with something unique. Lately I have been feeling that my poetic abilities has been running out (not really) help me regain my inspiration through an encouraging letter, poem, or lyrics. It's could be any length but the only catch is that the piece has to rhyme. (Hint the longer the better)
Free verse is not accepted, anyone could write random thoughts on paper, but it takes some thinking to write in rhyme. sorry free verses
The following poem I've written is the type of format I would prefer, but it doesn't have to follow my form. Get creative.

Now for the rules.
1. Proper English is a must.
2. no StICkY Caps
3. No profanity is accepted immediate DQ
4. Have fun !
Oh one more thing tell me what you think about this contest. Your opinions mean a lot to me.

i think this is a good contest. sometimes you just need to know that it's not just you that's going through this, that other people have been there too.. but they worked their way through it. knowing that just makes it a little easier to deal with.

I wrote a poem that fits your description but since it won the gold in another contest, I retired it. If you'd like to read it, please visit allpoetry.com/Poem/520797
I hope it helps stir up some inspiration. Happy writing!

I like the contest and hope to come up with an entry for it! I will put my thinking cap on and maybe with my harem, I can get some inspiration myself(lol). Good luck in judging. Good luck to the contestants as well!

I received an invite, but I'll have to decline as I don't write in rhyme. Good luck with the contest, though. There are quite enough rhymers here at AP to keep you busy.

My anger is subsiding I think. I have two entries in but there could be a few more. Feel the positive thoughts coming back from their weekend away. Thank you for hosting the contest.

I wanted to thank you very much for the Silver and offer Congrats to all others. It's greatly appreciated!
