I am looking for well written, creative and emotional poetry. I desire to see poems match the images. The poems can be in any form; DARK, SUICIDE, SPIRITUAL, EROTICA, LOVE, CHILDREN ect. Use only the images provided not one of your own. If you have a membership please upload the photo given, and place it with your poem because it helps to see it while reading It's okay if you are not able to do this
HINT...A poem about my grandson Dolan will be extra special to me but I cannot promise it will make you win. I also am an artist, how you use font, background and color affects me almost as much as the poem.

I know...I know and don't you think he has got a little Elvis thing goin on there with the lip and cheek... You should see the close up image this is nothing. Oh how I wish I had this sort of camera when my kids were younger.

Very nice pics! I personally have a thing for the dark ones, Vampire and Pain, they are absolutely beautiful, but your grandson is so very cute. Those eyes are perfect. I hope you get many beautiful entries.

thanks for the compliments on my grand babe...too late you already buttered me up No...hehe...I am off to read the new entries including yours. It's kinda hard to tell which people really want true critiques or just want all the good, it's a fine line we contest runners have to walk I think.

I don't know if I will have time to enter, but I just had to tell you how cute your grandson is!!! I love his expression!
I recently became a first-time grandma as well. He is now 14 months and it is SO fun beinging a grandma!

I have come back to say winning with my poem in your contest earlier this month means so much to me...I have to keep coming back to this poem like you told me to do...it is hard for me...my faith keeps slipping away then returning...I miss my brother so much and can't stop thinking of the wretched way he died at the hands of two human beings who are also Gods children...
I want to thank you for holding the contest, because submitting my poem and getting that wonderful comment from you is helping me come to terms with his death...thank you once again for awarding me the gold trophy because I didn't think my poem was any good to anyone only me...now I have someone I want to show it to in the hope it will bring some comfort...take care BarefootSoul ...~Lilac~
