Easter Blessings...

Easter is a blessed day. Not because of an egg, or a rabbit giving out candy in colorful baskets, but because it celebrates the day our Savior was ressurected. Risen from the grave...after being separated from the Father on the Cross.  He knew the beatings were coming, He knew the nails were coming. He lived in the flesh, for us. He died in the flesh, for us. That was the easy part for Him. The hard part was the separation He knew was coming.  What a sacrifice He made for us.

I thought it would be nice to show love to others in His honor. He told us to love our enemies as well as our friends.
So, what I am seeking is a prayer for another person on this site. You can tell us who it is, or keep it between you and God. (You can even send that person a link to your entry)
A poetic prayer for an enemy, friend, stranger, etc...as long as it's sincere and one of love.

No mocking, abusing, taunting, arguing, fighting, hating, or ugliness of any kind. Celebrate our Living Jesus with the Love He shows everyone.

Enter all you want, just have each entry for a different person.

1st-300
2nd-200
3rd-100

Best wishes to all who enter

i hope this is an encouragement to all who stop by and that the time spent here reading the entry requirements causes all to reflect on the Glory of Easter, the joy we share for that day and the ramifications of this Event for all mankind. Blessings and best wishes, ~richard

Thank-you for this contest and I have to say Amen. I have looked all over to find something to display that shows the actual meaning of Easter and Christ's death and ressurection but to no avail. That is sad, as that is what He did for us. Without that, where would we all be?

Oh My Sam! I really didn't expect a trophy in this challenge. I truly wrote this prayer/poem from my lips (or PC screen) to God's ears because I know for sure He hears and answers prayers. Thank you Sam!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE TTROPHY WINNERS Blessings to all who know and love the Lord. For those who do not, I pray you someday come to know the Majesty of a gracious, merciful Lord that hearkens to the voices of His children in prayer, and thanksgiving.

    Much Love,
    Renee

If God be for us, who can be against us ?

In praise to you, O God, I remember all poets here. We do not win trophies in your sight - let he who would be first among you, let him be last .... We pray , O lord, that you will bless Samplette for this opportunity to thank you, God become man, for the presence and gift of your Holy Spirit among us won at great sacrifice in triumph over evil and Death. Amen.
