This is a contest for slam poetry only!
If you do not know what slam poetry is I can recommend listening to Saul Williams, he is perhaps the best at it, or watching Russell Simmons Def Poetry.
I also have a poem that is an example of a slam poem, it's called dreams and if you want to know what I am looking for then there you have it, you do not have to read it to get any kind of extra credit though.

1. Have fun with it, please, if you have to rhyme in order to think that it's the only way to make it into a poem, then do so with style.

Oh yeah, I do not comment on the poems until the end of the contest, and I will comment on everyone's poem.
