My 1st contest and hopefully well received 
UPDATE Since there are so few entries...sorry to the ones that have entered I will ending the date of this sooner April 2nd!
I want to see well written poems or short stories based on any of my musings. Choose whatever poem/story you wish of mine and if it inspires you, write something similar. It's pretty easy and I feel it's good to broaden our minds via another poets perspective. I know I've been inspired by others plenty of times
You all know the basic rules in contests so I will list the not so obvious and a few tips. MEN PLEASE ENTER!! SEEMS I RARELY SEE ANY OF YOU POPPING YOUR HEADS IN ON CONTESTS......WE NEED A MALE PERSPECTIVE TOO! I PROMISE I WON'T BITE

~ No prewrites as these must be inspired by an actual poem of mine-
I know I hate it when people do that too but for this one it must be
~ Please use a spell checker. I don't expect perfection but things flow better when they are spelled correctly
~ I'd prefer that you use a poem that is not a haiku or pixiku
~ My dark and erotic poems are my favorites and I love free verse
~ Don't rewrite my poem, make your own similar to one of mine
~ List the title of the poem that inspired yours in your authors comments
~ Be creative with metaphors and unique words
~ Two entries per person
~ Contest ends on April 7th - if there are few entries I may extend this as well as shorten the ending date if there are too many entries.
~ I will be replying to poems both during and after the contest ends, please be patient (though I am usually pretty quick) as I take the time to read and comment on each entry
~ Honorable mentions will be listed, as many as I feel are worthy
~ If enough points are earned from comments ect, I will add to the amount that silver and bronze wins
~ ON YOUR MARK.....GET SET.......GOOOOOOOO
Prizes
1st Place - 300 points
2nd Place - 50 points
3rd Place - 25 points

I decided to bookmark your contest so I'll have to come back later and check out your poetry. I'm considering running a contest similar to your's... but a bit different in a lot of ways. I'll try to remember and come back and enter. Good luck with your contest

Runs off screaming at the thought of you saying yes....LOL...i needed that laugh and now I must go to bed so I can wake up early ..hehe...3 hours sleep maybe..daughters birthday today.
